This webinar will focus on the healthcare disparities that Latino/Hispanic patients, both children and adults, face in the areas of asthma and food allergy. Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo will discuss why it is important for allergists to be able to identify the disparities that exist for Latino/Hispanic patients with asthma and/ or food allergy. She will also discuss the need to improve the treatment of asthma and food allergy in patients of Latino/Hispanic ethnicity. Also covered will be how allergists can improve asthma and food allergy disparities by improved recognition in Latino/Hispanic patients.
