The ACAAI SPARK Award is a scholarship program designed to “spark” an interest in residents and medical students who are considering a specialty in Allergy/Immunology. This presidential initiative provides $1,500 to residents, and $1,700 to medical students at historically Black colleges and universities to help cover travel and meeting-related expenses to spend 3 days at the 2026 ACAAI Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. Registration for the annual meeting is complimentary for awardees.

Recipients will participate in a special Fellows-in-Training (FIT) symposium, be mentored by a FIT, and attend a variety of sessions covering all aspects of Allergy/Immunology from Friday, November 13 through Sunday, November 15.

Applications are open to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year medical students and 1st and 2nd year residents with an interest in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Med/Peds currently enrolled at Howard University, Meharry Medical College, Charles Drew School of Medicine and Science, and Morehouse School of Medicine.
