Price: FREE for members and non-members
Session recorded on December 5, 2024
Speaker: Purvi Parikh, MD, FACAAI
People living with severe asthma or other chronic lung conditions may be at a higher risk for severe illness from contagious viruses such as the flu or COVID-19. Vaccine hesitancy was worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic and needs to be addressed by meeting people where they are at. In this webinar, Dr. Purvi Parikh will define vaccine hesitancy, discuss ways to work with vaccine-hesitant patients, and talk about new vaccine guidelines.
This program is a collaboration between the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the Allergy and Asthma Network (AAN).
