Allergen Mixing Course Registration Now Open

This stand-alone, one day, hands-on workshop is being held on May 17, 2025 at the Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport. It is geared to train physicians and allied health professionals on how to appropriately mix allergen extracts for use with their patients. Participants must comply with USP Chapter 797 which includes detailed procedures and ensures the extracts do not get contaminated.

This robust course will cover didactic topics including allergens and standardization, current mixing regulations, safety and the compounding area, and documentation. Participants will receive substantial hands-on training on garbing, the glove-tip and media fill tests, and small group time with an expert for discussion and questions. Lunch and all supplies are provided.
