Knowing the Difference: Asthma or COPD? (AAN)
Price: FREE for members and non-members
Session recorded on June 14, 2023
Speaker: Gailen D. Marshall, MD, PhD
Specialists have long been experts in asthma care. However, increasing numbers of asthma patients have symptoms of COPD as well as some COPD patients developing asthma-like symptoms. Distinguishing the underlying pathophysiologies for prognostic and therapeutic values is often challenging based upon current clinical information.
This webinar will address the diagnosis and management of COPD, particularly in patients who exhibit overlap symptoms and those longer standing asthma patients who progress to develop COPD.
Viewers can earn credit by completing the posttest questions.
