This online toolkit, developed with the Respiratory and Sleep-related Breathing Disorders Committee, is designed to help clinicians recognize, diagnose, and treat Vocal Cord Dysfunction (VCD). In many locations, there are no available speech therapists with the expertise to treat this condition. This toolkit includes videos of a speech therapist demonstrating the breathing exercises used to treat VCD. The breathing exercises can be demonstrated to patients, or patients can view the videos. Patient handouts and other helpful resources are also provided for your use.
