• Differentiate conductive and inflammatory mechanisms of olfactory dysfunction in sinonasal disease. 
• Apply a structured diagnostic approach to patients presenting with smell loss, select appropriate evidence-based treatments for olfactory dysfunction, and counsel patients regarding prognosis and therapeutic expectations.
