TAS 2021 10th Annual Toledo Allergy Society Conference

It is an exciting time in the field of allergy and immunology. This CME program is designed to allow attendees to continue exploring the Immunology Frontier.  Covered topics include current and emerging treatments in angioedema, immunodeficiency and food allergy. 

This conference is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, residents, fellows & medical students.   It may also meet the educational needs of PA’s, NP’s pharmacists, nurses, EMT’s respiratory therapists, medical assistants and other interested health care professionals.  The conference will include interactive and didactic lectures by distinguished national speakers with local faculty participation.  

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) and Toledo Allergy Society (TAS). The American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity the participant should be able to:

  1. Review diagnosis and treatment of different types of angioedema and prioritize steroid sparing treatment options for patients with chronic urticaria
  2. Recommend early food introduction based on current guidelines for prevention of food allergies
