Description: Atopic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition affecting over 7% of adults and 13% of children with ~ 1/3 of those having moderate to severe disease. It is cared for by both primary care providers and specialists. It can present in many various forms depending on age and underlying type and color of skin.
