EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE
This online collection of pdfs provides the slide content from the 2014 ACAAI/AAAAI Certification/Maintenance of Certification Board Review Course, the premier postgraduate educational activity to prepare allergists/immunologists for initial certification and maintenance of certification exams. This review aid can assist practicing physicians and fellows-in-training (FITs) in preparing for the initial certification exam, the maintenance of certification exam, or as an intensive review of allergy and immunology to strengthen physician competence. The course consists of content developed by outstanding experts in the field and endeavors to cover the major concepts included in the written exams. Multiple choice questions are also provided along with the presentation content.

PLEASE NOTE: This course is not offered for CME credit or any other credit. It is intended for review and study purposes only.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Identify, evaluate and manage current concerns and issues related to the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic diseases
  • Demonstrate a mastery of key concepts in allergy and immunology and respond knowledgeably to multiple choice questions on board exams for initial certification and maintenance of certification in allergy and immunology
  • Summarize the practical application of key concepts in allergy and immunology in the management of clinical problems as discussed in this intensive board review course
